Mark 3:2-4

² The people^[a] watched Jesus^[b] closely to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath,^[c] intending to accuse him of doing something wrong. ³ He told the man with the paralyzed hand, “Come forward.”^{[d] 4} Then he asked them, “Is it lawful to do good or to do evil on Sabbath days,^[e] to save a life or to destroy it?” But they remained silent.
